1. Who we are
Kernix Studios ("we", "us") designs and builds custom websites for businesses. These terms apply to any project you request through kernixstudios.com or agree to directly with us. Contact:info@kernixstudios.com.
2. Quotes and scope
Every project starts with a written quote describing the scope, deliverables, and price. Work only begins once that quote is agreed. Anything outside the agreed scope — extra pages, features, or rounds of revisions beyond what was quoted — is treated as additional work and quoted separately before we proceed.
3. Payment
Payment terms (deposit, milestones, or a single payment) are agreed per project as part of the quote, before any work begins. Prices shown on this site are starting estimates for common project types, not final invoices — the exact price is confirmed once we understand your specific requirements.
4. Hosting and domain
Unless we've explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, hosting and domain registration are the client's own responsibility and cost — we're happy to advise on providers and can set things up under your account.
5. Content you provide
You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of any text, images, logos, or other material you provide for your project, and for holding the rights to use it. We'll flag anything that looks like it might infringe someone else's rights, but the responsibility to confirm usage rights stays with you.
6. Delivery and revisions
We design before we build — you approve the design before any development starts. After delivery, a reasonable round of adjustments to fix issues within the agreed scope is included; further changes are quoted separately or covered under a maintenance plan if you have one.
7. Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final website and its content. Any reusable code, components, or internal tooling we've built up over time to deliver projects faster remain ours.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as our process evolves; the version published here is the one that applies. Significant changes affecting an active project will be communicated directly.
